Testimonial - Joey Leong (text version)

"Our family decided to keep a pet and we were looking for a dog. While searching through the internet, we came across the Blog “ A Red Toy Poodle Story “. It was a great blog with lots of detailed information, especially so for us, who are first-time dog owner.

We fell in love with Amber and decided that we will get a toy poodle too. We got our bundle of joy, Shinee in June 2012. As we were inexperienced, we got a lot of help from Jerald and Nicole. Both of them are really helpful and understanding. They never fail to revert to us with answers on the questions raised. Through many private messages, we felt that they were like friends to us.

In December 2012, our family was leaving for a holiday. We were concerned about our puppy Shinee and we were reluctant to leave him with a pet hotel. We were looking for pet sitters who can shower Shinee with the same care and love at home. Then we recalled that Nicole and Jeryl provide Dog Boarding services. I contacted them straight away and was really happy when they agreed to provide Dog Boarding for our pet, Shinee. They offered lots of tips and advice as to what we should be bringing along with us for the dog boarding. They even offered to help us train our pet with issues that we were having that we were not able to rectify ourselves.

We were able to travel at ease without worrying about our pet. They kept us updated with the progress of our pet, by posting videos on Facebook and Youtube. When we took our pet home, he was totally different. He was a lot calmer and we welcomed the new positive change in him. Jeryl also gave us tips on how to train Shinee and he also pointed out the issues which Shinee was having. We took his tips seriously and tried our best to keep the training consistent with what Jeryl and Nicole had done.

Till today we are still in contact and kept them posted on the progress of Shinee. They were also very kind to Shinee by showering him nice dog apparel. We are also getting our supplies of Heartgard from them for our pet.

Thank you Nicole and Jeryl for all the useful tips and most importantly your friendship."

First time to Pasir Ris Farmway (Pet Farm)

04 Feb, my husband's colleague decided to get another puppy so he drove us to Pasir Ris Farmway to look for puppy since we wanted one as well. He already has a 1 year Male Yorkshire Terrier so he was looking for another breed to accompany his Yorkshire. The farm was really hard to get to if you do not drive a car, unless you don't mind calling a cab. It's in the deepest part of the road and there ain't any buses around. When we first went to the first shop at farmway 02, we met a very stuck-up pet owner. Very "hao lian(proud)" with his puppies and even said all his prices are very CNY, all ended with $xx88 which means good luck for the Chinese people. We saw a pretty red toy poodle but it was sold, so the shop owner told us to buy his other puppies instead since all his puppies are so-called "high quality". I think that shop was kinda overpriced for every puppy that he quoted. One of the pups that he was selling, poodle was just besides it, seek

How to take care of your dog before and after Spay/Neuter

Many owners, especially first timers have no idea how to take care of their dogs after spay/neuter operation, owners that do not know what to expect could easily be traumatize by the experience along with their dog. This is why we have decided to come up with a tutorial on how to take proper care of your dog during the healing process. Before deciding on spaying/neutering your dog, it is good to first read up the pros and cons of doing it, don't spay/neuter your dog just because other people do it, check it up, study about it and take some time to decide.
